What do use to clean the non-shiny plastic inside & outside of your car like dashboards & bumpers? Do you use that on the non-shiny plastic parts on your moto? I remember hearing ArmorAll dried out the plastic but don't know if that's true

I’m a big fan of a lot of the CarPro line of products. For your application I would go with this…

shopping

This is strictly a cleaner. It will leave no protection or a finish of any kind behind. So maybe follow up with a more dressing type product (not frigging Armor All), if you want. CarPro makes a dressing called Perl for that purpose. It can be diluted to the level of shine you want to leave.

If you’re looking for more of a quick use cleaner/protectant (like Windex is for glass) then go with this one…

Bonus! For clear plastic, like the lens of the instrument cluster, map lights, various display screens, and everybody’s favorite…piano black trim? I love this one…

Thanks guys. Would you use any of these on non-shiny plastic surfaces on your bike? Or something different?

Since it’s for a bike and the plastic is exposed to the elements, I would follow up with the CarPro Perl.

Ever since I got Bike Spirits when I bought Bonnie new, I have used it on car and bike. It’s nothing like Armorall effect. I think there are similar “detailers” out there that arent aerosol and cheaper.

ProtectAll on Amazon.

Great stuff!

Just buy some Pledge or the cheap Ace Hardware generic lemon spray. Leaves a tiny bit of shine, but a great cleaner.

This, a million times this.
