Barber Shop recommendations in San Jose?

Since about the time I was in middle school I've been shaving my head with a 1 all the way around, and that cut has worked out for me pretty well into my late 20's now. I've never been much a barber shop guy as a result, but occasionally I'd visit someplace local for a professional fade if I had something special coming up.

Lately, I've been toying with the idea of growing a beard, and I think I finally have enough facial frizz to justify a visit to a solid barber to help shape it.

Here's what I'm trying to get done: I'd like to get my beard shaped and possibly a bit pointed at the end, and then topped off with a 1 on top faded down to skin + lined up etc.

I've spent the past 45mins or clicking through Yelp, but nothing has really stood out as where I NEED to go... So I thought I'd inquire on the Barf as to where to get my whiskers wacked.

San Jose/South Bay area strongly preferred, thanks for any tips!

I don't have a beard, but I go to the place with the best looking chicks cutting hair. Usually, San Luis Obispo. I don't care what it costs. I don't even care what it looks like, it will grow back. I just like gorgeous women messing with my head.

I like Jerry's in Campbell on San Tomas Aquino. It's like stepping back in time.

Dunno about their beard shaping, but they'll do a hot straight razor shave.

Thanks for the replies guys, I was all set to check out B-Pizazz this afternoon but at the last minute a friend convinced me to try a shop called Razors Edge near downtown and I have to say I am happy with the the cut.
