BARF Rallies 2026 - Ride Party Ride Party Ride

I have 2 double queen rooms held at the barf discounted rate which I need to confirm. If some could claim one of these please PM me.

Are there group rates for the Skylark?
I have 2 queen doubles held in my name. $140.50/ night including resort fee. PM me if you can use one of these.

After being offered official escorts we decided to keep things close to the cuff.
Maybe now that there are not 100+ riders with "Hawthorne Racing Numbers" being sought after on Pole Line Rd there is less worry/interest from the local constabulary.

The OpSec temperature may be a bit cooler these days. If it gets more participants without the secret squirrel stuff....

Irritable old man rant incoming:

My vote is no.

Sign up for the damn rally even if you're not going all 3 days and then you can discuss routes and other shit.

I feel there is no need for the general public to continually add their two cents in a thread dedicated to a rally...there are public threads for that.

tl;dr: Get off my fuckin lawn.

...Also, I noticed the meetup spot listed as “Bux Cordelia.” I’m not familiar with that term or location, so a little clarification would help me make sure I’m showing up at the right place.
Starbucks coffee, located in Cordelia.

The Paul R situation reminds me that I've always thought it was a bit odd to have the private forum for events.
Being able to see what is being planned and discussed might be a selling point for other members to join in.
In addition to law enforcement reading BARF (I know this for a fact, spoke to an officer that does so as part of his daily 'duty') we've had ex-partners stalk their ex's on Rallys.

My brother! Completely agree.

Also: the headlight is awesome.

I haven't done a brisk night ride to fully check it out but it's noticeable even in the dark morning commute. And the high beam is pretty damn sweet. really narrowly focused straight ahead like a small spotlight instead of a full wide beam.
I modded my wiring so I can run my driving lights with the high beams and it's simply glorious.

Damn it.

I have to agree with Mean dad, private rally forum is private. IN the rare case where a person is involved in planning, but not staying at the hotel, and needs input from attendees it should be kept to those signed up and committed. :thumbup

It's not like participants go radio silent once the private forums are up, there are conversations happening today in this very public '2026 Rallies' thread regarding this weekend.

:dunno

:laughing

Whoops
I'm replying to too many threads I forget which one I'm in.
