Barnett clutch kit any good ?

Look at the clutch hydraulics. Been bled? Do you have an aftermarket slave cylinder? They have a larger bore to reduce lever pull but trade clutch disengagement travel. I tried 2 sizes on my Aprilia and chose the smaller of the 2 to get clutch to disengage better. It has been a a while but I think OEM was 26mm and after market had 28mm & 30mm.

Another place to look is the clutch lever push pin at the master. It can be adjusted. But you must be careful. PM me if you want more detail.

We used to alternate stock and Barnett springs.

Their fibers are junk, their steels are good. Most of my trackbikes and race bikes have always used OEM. It is high quality.

I use oem too , I have a barnett in it now but it was an emergency get back in the game and race purchase. I wasnt impressed with the frictions.

Performance ..well the clutch either works or it doesnt. Slip or doesnt . It doesnt slip, and it works. Any clutch will give shitty performance if A it wasnt set up properly B Isnt properly adjusted at perch with 1/8 inch slop .. C properly adjusted inline ..

Life - THIS has alot of hidden variables . JOHN got 30K miles, PAUL got 1200 JIM BURNED IT IN ONE DAY ... Well hidden variable JOHN Commuter miles never pushes the engine . PAUL Trackday enthusiast that clutches alot of wheelies JIM a drag racer /

Do the math ... There arent very many parts that will outlast OEM thats real talk, There are many that claim to enhance your performance and handling . Id do the math and hit reviews instead of open forum where we are all rockstar racers////

Lots of good advice given here. Only thing I would add is not to forget the little stuff. Recently had a DR350 clutch drive me a bit nuts and it turned out to be the washers, one on each side of the hub, and the spacer that goes in the middle of the hub. Thing dragged and dragged.... I never would have thought until I talked to a fellow in Oregon about it (Jesse Kientech is a super nice guy BTW). Anyways I'm not totally familiar with your setup but that's what I would suggest: check it ALL over and over again until you find it. It's there and it's something simple.....
