perfect, thank you ... other landmarks : behind in n out burgers, walmart / home depot shppping center.

still on, rain or shine, (or partially cloudy as forcast. )

I preran the route last weekend, takes aprox 1 hpur 40 minutes for the 30 or so mile distance 1 way. kinda bumpy and goaty getting there, then suburbian hellscape, then lots of 10 mph switchbacks, and plenty of ambitious pedal bikers up there. lowish speed limit.

coming back down there are plentiful signs saying "slow down, don't crash" to which I was muttering to myself , "you're not the boss of me ! I'll crash if I want to."

don't forget : $10 park entrance fee per vehicle

see you there, I hope

It was great to meet everyone - the weather cooperated too.
I've lived here all my life and never went to the top of Mt Diablo so that was a treat.

Such great pics! I've been riding Diablo since I was a kid. It was my last mc ride 2 years ago. I hope to ride it again, maybe. I still drive it a few times year. Such a great ride!

The road up there is pretty windy with lots of 10 MPH hairpins. It took some work to get the Busa up there but glad I did. Coming down seemed a lot easier.

Down was much more flowing. I even enjoyed the slab back home. Plenty of opportunity to put the cages in the rear view.
