Blackhawk Down
I completely forgot about that one. One of my favorites.
I went to see Saving Private Ryan on the big screen with a few other guys when it first came out. We snuck in with two barley pops each. I set mine down during the opening scene and never picked them back up.![]()
One of my favorite movies of all time.

The DDay landing sequence in Saving Private Ryan is the most intense I've ever seen.
Its not quite what I would call one of film's great gunfights, but I love how this scene from Kick-Ass adopts the entire visual language of first person shooters. Soundtrack doesn't suck either.

Some of Michael Mann's best work.
That bit of music at the end was composed by Craig Safan, the guy who did the theme from Cheers, and a shit ton of movies and TV music.
The rest of the soundtrack is Tangerine Dream.

Hk USP9cSpeaking of Michael Mann, it's not really a gunfight since it's completely one-sided, but this scene is fucking awesome:

The Heat gun battle in downtown LA.

The gun battle at the end of Children of Men is the most intense gun battle I've seen, all done in one long take (with a few editing tricks), where the protagonist never picks up a gun...

Wow. I'd never even heard of that movie. Powerful.
Dude see it.

Does Julianne Moore get naked? Like she does in basically every other movie ever?![]()
