All bolts have been removed. Whats the best tool to physically get these cases to separate? Rubber mallet?

C4 and a remote detonator.

I'd try the rubber mallet. There will be some locating dowels that require you pull exactly straight to get things moving. Don't lose them

I'd say your 'work table' looks sketchy but I don't think that's a strong enough word :laughing. I might ask a buddy to help move it somewhere more solid like the floor before I start hitting it with the persuader. If it won't split, check for a bolt you missed before you start hitting it harder. They always hide one somewhere.

I just want to know what length 2x4 that was that before you chopped it up into pieces and made that worktable !

You guys like that shit, huh? LOL!!:rofl:eboy

It was temporary so I could take off the swingarm and lower bracket. I already carried it inside the house to be worked on.

2lb plastic deadblow. I'd look up on a microfiche, (see how old I am? :laughing) where the locating pins are, so you'll know where to hit for maximum effect.

And of course, make sure you have all the bolts out. Especially that hidden one...

Ditto this. Look for that last bolt. Rubber mallet, dead blow mallet, tap tap tap tap tap, it will come apart. You can also, on some motors, put a BIG bolt back in most of the way, or 3-4 of them, and tap the bolt head.

1+ on Ernie but remember he said TAP

No hidden bolts XD

I referred to the manual and made sure I had the right amount of bolts in my hand before I attacked the case.

I just dropped the mainshaft and countershaft off to be checked since I had a leak from behind the sprocket and shifting was rough. Still debating if I want to get my crankshaft inspected while everything is disassembled.
