What's up fam?? Thank you so much for all your input so far on my other threads I really appreciate it. Now that it's actually raining I'm looking for a good quality water-proofing treatment for my boots

I got them second-hand, they're old school Daytona Urban boots that were re-soled.

Does anyone have a recommendation for good waterproofing treatments? The Daytona care instructions call out Daytona Aqua Stop but that's not available anywhere that I can find.

Does anyone have any recommendations? So far I've found Nikwax and Atsko Sno Seal locally. I talked to Revzilla and they recommended Nikwax but they've never heard of Sno Seal, but it was referenced in multiple reviews on REI as the OG go-to product.

I've been using Sno-Seal on my boots since forever ...

leather Aero Stich Adventure boots, made by Sidi ...
have resoled these once, and they still are keeping
my feet dry here in CA. :ride

I used Sno Seal on my outdoorsy and workboots.

On my Forma Adventure boots I used FRYE Weatherproof Cream (bought online)
 
I've had good luck following the guidelines of good work boot makers like Whites, Wesco, and Nicks, no matter what product you decide to use.
 
All the leather waterproofing waxes I've tried seemed to work well. Products from Nikwax, Sno Seal & Skidmore's.

this ! sno seal aka bee seal ... bee or other wax, melted into the pores of the leather

I have been using Snow Seal for er... 40 years?
 
I just soak mine with Scotch Guard Heavy Duty water repellant. Same with my 'Stitch.
 
I use Hubbards Shoe Grease. Not only waterproofs, but softens up old leather.
 
Hubbards, Mink oil, Neets foot oil, using this since the 60's, work to soften, mostly on jackets and gloves, but don't have the bees wax seal. Cleaner and less aromatic than mink oil after treatment.
 
I have never treated my 18 year old Sidi On Road boots and it remains completely waterproof, even when I am standing in a pool of water of several inches high.
