Does anyone know the best way to watch MotoGP this year ? I have heard of DORNA? or maybe SPEED channel ? I cant find any good info on this topic for 2009 racing.
Cheers

My guess is no one knows yet. The english eurosport team was my favorite, but Dorna saw it in their great wisdom to give GP coverage to the BBC when there are overlapping F1 dates.

I'm hoping someone has good coverage this season. I'll likely give BBC a shot when the season starts.

Eurosport was the business I am going to miss them

sign up for the motogp.com HD subscription (maybe w/ a few friends), connect ure computer to your extremely large HDTV w/ an 10$ cable, set your alarm, and enjoy the races. i found that i always missed something w/ the SPEED coverage, but the live feed is perfect. breakfast in between the 250 and GP race and ure set

Speed Channel coverage of MotoGP in my opinion is the suck. :thumbdown Too little racing wrapped around too many commercials crammed into a one hour time slot.

For the past couple of years I've done the MotoGP.com subscription. I've got a PC connected to a HDTV and can watch the action live or anytime after the fact. Full uninterrupted coverage when you want it WITHOUT krap commercials is the only proper way enjoy MotoGP racing.

I did motogp.com. I liked the eurosport comentators, but I don't like the missed action in the ad breaks. I believe Speed also cuts out to ads.

The Comcast SPEED Channel broadcasts, whether in HD or not, are inferior in quality as compared to other broadcast channels from around the world. Supertireguy is correct in saying they have to cram too much into an one hour slot. There is hardly any pre or post race coverage. I personally enjoy rider, crew, fan interviews before and after the race as well as practice and qualification coverage. Unfortunately, SPEED is the readily available television choice available to us.

CBS and NBC broadcast a total of four MotoGP races last year but I am not sure if they are going to continue for this season.

The Dorna that you refer to is the name of the sanctioning body of MotoGP. They also run MotoGP.com which is the "official" website of MotoGP and they broadcast races online both live and on demand.

Eurosport and BBC I am sure you are familiar with being a Brit. Both are not readily available here in the USA but clues are embedded in this thread that will lead you to them.

Speed usually manages to place ads during crucial moments in the race. Don't get me started about their MX coverage.
I'll miss the Eurosport team. The BBC commentators are ok but that chick that does the grid interviews is a bit tedious.

I was getting my races from Eurosport, but Dorna sold out and BBC now has the rights, so I guess I'll be watching the BBC version...

anything is better than Speed coverage...

Is the pic as good as regular hd programming when you do this?? I think i might give it a try.
