If you haven't visited them you are missing out on a GREAT RIDE and a great place to visit. Jeff is a great guy and has some COOL bikes on display, a good place to warm up with a cup of coffee!
Some great art on the walls with history.:thumbup:thumbup

Where is it at ??

Yep, Jeff is a super guy and it is a great place to hang out.
Should of been here for the Moto Envy show, even more great bikes! (like a hundred)
I try to have lunch there several times a week as I can walk from work. :thumbup

I want the Kawasaki road racer with the thumper motor near the front window...trickness :thumbup

Nice tip, I'll have to find my way up there soon! :thumbup

I'll most likely have to make it a two day trip, mapquest is estimating just over 5 hours one way and I'm not in the mood for an Iron Butt adventure. :ride

Good place to stay is nearby Fortuna at one of the 4 Hotels within easy Crawling distance from Eel River Brewing. There is also Camping nearby at the RV Park.
Awesome breakfast can be had in large quantities at the Samoa Cookhouse.

Sounds great, thanks!! :thumbup

I stayed at one of those hotels. Easy stumble from Eel River and the waitresses were super friendly to my lonesome self.

And if you are not afraid of water or mud you have to see FERN CANYON some of Jurassic Park was filmed there, some of star wars was filmed on miners trail just out side of the camping area, bring sandals for the canyon walk it's wet.

It's a great ~10 mile round trip hike on the Jame Irvine Trail, or a 16 mile round trip ride on rutted dirt, with a short walk to fern canyon. We did that on street bikes.

Done the canyon in riding boots and in hiking boots. Both were OK.

If you're in Eureka and like chocolate, you could do worse than visiting these guys:

Actually last time I was in Fortuna, I was waiting for a friend who was riding down from the north. Would have met him in Eureka instead if the Dick Taylor chocolate shop was open that day. Didn't occur to me to ride north for the Black Lightning Cafe...

Yes, yummy Chocolate right out my back door at work.
They came and did a presentation at our store and quite impressive. Many of their chocolates are single bean (not a mixture) and all that I have tried were top notch!
