Bridgeville to become BARFville.

I've told this before, but it remind me of the time some chef came on barf and said to go to his restaurant for a 20% discount. So we did.

We walked up to the front desk and my gf proudly announced "hi we are barfers and are here to try your new restaurant".

Dude at the desk had no idea what we meant so he gave us a weird look and sat us in the back, by the bathrooms. They kept starting at us until I realized our mistake.

Nobody barfed that night.

i'd say that including Barf may be offputting to tourism so i'd go for the alternate word for barfing: Regurgitown

Apparently the last owner died by suicide so it might be a bit of a headache to own a working town... Now if you could do an owner move in and evict everyone and turn it into a private moto play ground that'd be sweet.

that was 20 years ago and his mom's been the owner since. i suspect that buying a town was the symptom of whatever caused him to take his own life, rather than buying the town being the cause

I saw that. Honestly it is probably a 5 year and another 500K project but man it does appeal to me.
It'd probably be more fun to own something like this as a barf clubhouse - https://www.redfin.com/CA/Clipper-Mills/12225-La-Porte-Rd-95930/home/99992202?
I think that is very cool for sure and much more affordable. Looks like a good time could be had there.

Agree in affordability. Big-time bummer there’s no river next to it, but it does have its own laundrymat (sic) 😄

You could sell your office building and 1031 exchange into something like this...avoid paying taxes on the building sale...

As a bonus, they have Bridgefest where they fling UFO's off the old bridge every year!
.....so ,it's got that going for it ...
