Anyone spend more time than they should on BaT? I have sold a few cars and bought a few cars there with pretty good results, although right now may not be the time to sell high!
Was thinking maybe a thread on deals or bikes that pique your interest?

Might be a fun friendly discussion.

This one seems cheap? FWIW motorcycles get a 10% BaT fee added to BaT, cars are at 5%.

I like it. We have a forum that is intended exactly for this type of stuff:

BaT and Cars & Bids seem like sites where dealers are inflating used car prices. Or money laundering. Or both.

Some of the auctions win amounts are just reDONK.
the market for past 2 years is insane on sports cars, the car i was interested in already appreciated another 60k+ (another 33%) in 2 fn years with me just sitting by and not pulling the trigger

I sold my Porsche 914 on bring a trailer. It was a pretty fun experience. I bid on a couple Cayman Porsches. That was interesting. Prices went way high.

BaT just seems like rich assholes trying to out-rich asshole each other. :laughing

Like these 2 disasters... (I think they shill bid their own auctions)

Selling for RC30 / RC45 money. Totally not worth it.

I put 80k miles on my RWB 900RR. Loved that bike.

More attainable 90s Honda goodness....?

Also.....uh....whateverthefuckthisis

Neither of which hold a candle to this simple glorious unobtainium

Also, almost every motorcycle auction is 'no reserve'.

Indeed they do. I've pushed back to have reserves on the vehicles I've sold on BAT.
