Bump if you rode into work today

Loaded for my bi-monthly San Diego trip as soon as I get off this afternoon.

Highways 58 and 33 as the sun is setting! Then slabbing through the LA and Riverside basins. Just about the time I'm ready to shoot myself in the face because of the never ending construction on I-15, I peel off for an hour of therapy riding in the SD mountains.

Taking the easterly route back via Nine Mile Canyon, and camping along the Kern River between Sherman Pass and Portuguese Pass on Friday.

It's the overpriced OEM kit. I got the dealer to throw it in at cost since the bike was a demo and they couldn't discount it any further.

Edit: It's a 30L made by Shad, didn't remember that off the top of my head.

I didn't ride to work today but I rode Morgan territory to mines, up and over mt Hamilton ending at the end of 130. Just over 100 miles of twisties, took about two and a half hours.

Stopped at the junction and hosed myself off. Drenching your t shirt and helmet does wonders.

Will post a picture tomorrow but it's at a gas station, I can't be bothered to stop in the middle of a ride. Ruins the tempo

Caldecott tunnels.... sunny and clear on the east bay side.... cold and foggy on the other. bay bridge was busy as hell this morning

Wednesday bump

Wish I was back doing my goaty loop, here is a picture from the gas station at the end.

The "adventure" bike in Kingston, OK...

For some reason my photos are too big to upload.

I didn't take any photos on the ride here. 1600+ miles in two days. Too tired. Ima take three days for the return trip and will stop for some interesting photos to post with the ride report.

I rode my CBR. 20 miles sitting, 1 standing. Start looking for gas at 100 miles. I'll be making two overnight stops on the way back.

I must be a glutton for punishment because I would love to ride cross country on a super bike. Must be from Dennis (AntiHero)

Bump.

Leaving Sequoia NF for the 4 hour ride to work:

Nothing beats showing up for work reeking of campfire smoke and insect repellent!
