I finally rode into work this week. My pulse still races with excitement whenever I put on my gear knowing I'm going to ride. Does that feeling ever go away?

Sweet setup! Bet you don't worry about whether your bike is there or not after a day at work:thumbup

Hasn't gone away for me after five years and just over 30,000 miles!

Well, by the time I swing my leg over the bike my heartrate has settled down. It is important to be calm when riding to help keep inputs smooth.

I consciously slow down my breathing when gearing up to keep from getting too amped up:laughing for a commute home:| that is 6 miles:laughing:rofl:ride

Nice bump:cool

Sometimes I really like my job. Flew a Pilatus PC-7 today.

That huge fender tho

You need a Yoshimura fender eliminator. :teeth

I parked next to an FZ-09 with the same color and same integrated tail light!

Nice spot! :thumbup

I am seeing more and more CP3's around which is great!

I say that I keep my stock fender so as to not draw attention from police and avoid possible fix it tickets (i'm running a...loud exhaust) but also I am lazy and don't give two shits about the looks of mandated safety equipment:laughing:rofl

Now, if removing the fender did anything besides look better and function worse than I would have already done it.:laughing:twofinger

Yep, I've seen 4-5 FZ's all parked in the same row! Mine is still the only FJ though. :x :teeth

I kind of did regret getting the fender eliminator when I went for a particularly rainy and muddy ride and came back with my license plate, tail light, seat, jacket and helmet covered in mud... :laughing

Stock fender here, same cop avoiding reason. But the mud guard on the rear wheel has a big rectangular cut out on it so everything gets disgusting anyhow. :dunno

:wtf what bike is that from? I'm trying to think of a reason for that design...

Because BMW racebike...

Other people have done fiberglass grafts onto them to cover up the hole.

It's a long weekend and I'm not in the office Monday or Tuesday, have a great and safe Memorial weekend!
