yep been loving the ride in over the last few days and the joy of Friday morning traffic

Rode in for the first time yesterday, today is day two and it's been great. Being a relatively new rider this is another stepping stone for me so pretty psyched about it. I still haven't passed breakin period yet, and this is my first bike. I'm glad I have a short 5 mile commute with no highway involved, lets me go easy while I try to not be in the way

Congrats! That commute is ideal, I have the same. It's great for new riders since you aren't pressured with highway speed and it's not too long that you can't stay focused the whole ride. Just watch out for intersections, driveways, anyplace with a road of travel perpendicular to your own. Now let's see a pic

yeah its noticeably lighter on a Friday morning. pulling onto the 24 at Pleasant hill its free flowing traffic all the way to the bridge rather than the usual snarled freeway all the way to the tunnels and then from the slip onto the 580.
