I'm moving back to California and have a 2017 yz125.
Will I be able to ride it at the OHV parks?

You should be issued a red sticker for your 2017 YZ125 until 2025, when all bikes will get the equivalent of a green sticker.

Bay Area OHV areas, areas near large urban population, and pollution zones, limit riding in summer fro Red Sticker bikes. Most NFS and BLM land outside urban areas do not have such restrictions and can be ridden year round….. and worth the drive IMO.

Just google Red Sticker riding restrictions in CA and you should get a list of all riding area that have season restrictions and those that don’t. 👍

Collect em while you can because the plan is no bike model year 2022 and newer can have a red sticker registration. If it doesnt meet green sticker emissions you get no sticker. Like stated prior your 2017 bike is in like flint. Some bikes model year 2022 or newer have still been recieving red stickers so we will see who prevails dmv or C.A.R.B. my guess is carb

I love that placard! :thumbup

My guess, based on his actions and the last bill that was supported by both CA Chambers.... any reasonable compromise will be vetoed again by Gov Newsome. So CARB and our fine Governor will win. :x

Prolly. The wind seems to blow toward all bikes meet whatever emissions standard they come up with

Thanks, I had that yard sign made up for my house

I have plenty of bikes to ride if the red sticker ban stays in effect and after riding Butch's Alta I can very much see owning an electric in the future
