No, they don't. They're essentially just a representation of the sound of "Buick" in English. In fact, since "Buick" is a surname, there is no way to translate it--you just represent the sound.
That being said, companies selling in China do make a great effort to choose a good name in Chinese that either translates the name of their product or imitates the sound in English. It makes business sense. Just like, in reverse, "Nova" was a bad name for a car in Spanish-speaking markets.
Buick is popular in China for the same reason VW has been popular in China--they've been in the market for a long time. And of course thirty years ago it was a symbol of the wealthy American nation.
