This is a fellow employee in a Microsoft environment using an iPhone to open Teams or Outlook.
After entering credentials, the Authenticator app opens with a two digit code with the message to open the Authenticator and enter the code.
Well, it seems the Authenticator app is already open as that is what's showing the 2-digit code. If you swipe that away and reopen the Authenticator, the same screen with the same 2-digit code opens. If you open Teams instead, there will be an error message that codes were not received.
Another time, the Authenticator opens with a 6-digit code, but there is no place to enter this code either.
Our IT guy is stumped.
