Great ride report. I hope to do Carrizo next spring if we get enough rain for wild flowers. None this year. Spring time there is special.

Heck, that pic makes me want to turn around and do it again...after a good rain.

Hurricane Ridge during a good wildflower bloom in 2010 ... I like to camp up here ...

Exactly, the tire does last much longer than any other tire I've had on the bike, at a price though. I guess the MEFO will stay until it wears out. I think I've tried all the supposed "good" tires already, not sure what to try next.

I paired a Pirelli Rally Raid with the Mefo SE. Ok, but doesn't seem as good as the 908 front. Might give the Rally Raid rear a try. I found it online for just over $100 or so.
