Wowsa, Iron Resurrection custom built one of those, stretched the cab a bit for legroom, elongated the fenders a bit too.
This, with an 8' bed, soo much chrome trim, I could spend some time behind this wheel, & view out over the hood.

Every generation has its dream car. For some of us, it wasn't an import or a modern supercar. It was a Challenger R/T with a 383.
This one is still making jaws drop all these years later.
Who had one, wanted one, or regrets selling one?

Unfortunately I have stated my hert ache at selling my old Challenger. It wasn't an R/T 383 but it was loved and raced a bit. So much of my formative years were shaped by that car and my sketchy shady tree mechanic skills were greatly enhanced.

I had a 68 Charger in the late 90s/early 2000s. Thing was an absolute basket case and I was a broke-ass kid, but it ran and drove despite the holes in the body, floor, and trunk. Originally a 225 equipped car, someone at some point in is life swapped in a 360 from a mid 70s pickup. It had a cam and once I shitcanned the QuadraJunk and replaced it with an Edelbrock, it got down! The 4-wheel manual drum brakes left something to be desired though :laughing

Sold it in 2005 for way too little and I've been beating myself up for it ever since.

I like those Porsche station wagons.

Me too....It went for $54.5K. I bailed out a little before that...wholesale is around $50K, but a color like that won't come around often and Porsche doesn't make the sport nor 4 cross Turismo anymore.

While overseas a few times this last month I noticed there are a lot of car brands with wagon offerings that we don't see here. Almost all the major ones have a wagon over there.

Yeah, the US kinda sucks for wagons. We get some cool ones, no one buys them and they disappear. The Regal Tour-X was quote good and yet, no one bought them. They bought Tahoe's and Yukons...where the engines blew up.

Totally....although testing drivers complain about two things: artificial feel of brakes and artificial, inconsistent feeling of the steering. So many cars are like this now days...even many performance cars. I have no idea what GM did to get the Corvette C8 to feel hydraulic, but the brakes and steering are money on that car.

A dialed-in Q-jet is second to none... way better than that ancient Edelbrock / Carter AFB. The key is knowing how to set it up, or know someone who does. I've run 'em on a bunch of different engines, the most unique application being a Ford 300 (6-cylinder) that I had Sean Murphy Induction put together for me. If I can't run FI, it's my go-to carb.

Not enough CFMs! :laughing

The RS6 avant is pretty boner-inducing
Isn't that the one that Tom drives in Mobland? I love that car.

I got a Holly 650 4 barrel for free cause dude and his mechanic couldn't set the air/fuel mixture right. He bought it new put it on, couldn't get it right, took it off, and gave it to me. I was like hell yeah I grew up doing Holley carbs.
