i wish someone made a bike like this in 600cc, the Speed triple needs some competition

I really like the look of the bike so I bought it. On the ride home I realized that this just isn't the bike for me so when I got home I gave it to the first passerby that had an m1 endorsement on there license.:)

Looks cool, but soft like a marshmallow and I found the ergos a little odd. Considered it myself but decided on the Tuono instead.

Extremely popular in Europe. These were everywhere when I was in Italy for a GP back in 2010. Look sweet. Seems like an ideal sport/street bike.

Reg Pridmore uses one in his CLASS school ... to take people pillion and rips. Lots of upgrades though.

Yes, there is 1 (one) rider among the 55,000+ members of this site that has one and posts about it. red - M ^^^

(there is one more guy with one, but he doesn't post nearly as often, or I haven't noticed him posting)

I think the white color makes it look like a Kawasaki Z1000 which has been made for years and years already. :) and it might be better for quick handling duties ;)

I don't think a 600cc bike would really be competition for the Speed Triple.

Naked/Standard/Upright bikes in the 600ish range:

Street Triple (675, i3)
Brutale 800 (800, i3)
Shiver (750 v2)
Street Fighter 848 (848 v2)
Tiger 800 (800 i3)
Ninja 650 (i2)
Suzuki Metrosexual (Gladius or whatever.... 650 v2)

For the street I think the bigger engines actually make more sense. The hp output is still more than enough for the street without reaching the insanity levels of the superbikes. For street needs the roll-on power and available-at-all-times torque of the larger (but still more relatively sane) nakeds makes street riding much, much easier.

I LIKE the CB1000R. Good looking bike. Makes sense in the real world.

Actually that one passed by the other day by my window. It surprised me how good it sounded . Better than any two-cylinder Kawasaki and definitely better than an inline-4 Honda.. heh.
It actually sounds downright sexy/raspy with a cool-deep-sounding exhaust. I could think ... "Ducati sounding"?

Too bad I guess that people were too afraid or something and wouldn't ride it.. so it didn't sell.
