Christian Rock Star pays to have wife killed

Doest matter, I failed to read anything in the article sayn CHRITISAN KILLER. you would think if that was it it would be plastered all over the headlines.

BUt the Guy Said I Do and broke a voe so its killer christian.

Thinking about it, since only christians do the vow as it seems people think here
what do Non Christians recite
I will fuck yer brains out Hoo raa an yo momma to until I decide to try gay or dogs :rofl

Just because you need to be spoon fed some detail that others were already aware doesnt change any facts. The band is a self described Christian Metal band, it's not uncommon knowledge for their fan base. They even admit that their lyrics are "faith based". If the dude was just a christian in a metal band, and he hadnt made a big deal out of it, I wouldnt have mentioned the fact. Point is, he did, so I did.

Your comment was really inflammatory and IMO a directed un qualified attack against Christians, as noted not just by me, but others stipulating the title was such. I don't particularly care, if the dude is a believer or not, a dog or cat or celeb.

That's all fine with me as I said I do not much care what the guy believes or not, but it certainly does with you as you seem to place some sort of label on christian based on some sort or personal bias. Just my opinion. Fact is the guy wanted and hired a dude to smoke his wife, ya probably would not even of posted it if it was Axel Rose.

Proof that religion makes people dumb right there.

Apparently you missed where this all took place at. Welcome to Red California. The land of no Christian bashing.

Like the rest of America, non-Christians sign a state-sponsored marriage certificate. It is a very limited view to believe only Christians say vows.

Oh, and homosexuality or bestiality? That's rich.

My post was factual, not inflammatory. If facts bother you, go read some fiction and stay out of my threads. As I mentioned earlier, if someone is going to make a big deal out of their religious beliefs, and this band did by announcing themselves to be a christian metal band, then when they do something unchristlike, I'm going to call it on them. I'd have jabbed at a Buddhist hippie for doing the same thing.

Axl Rose, to my knowledge, has never preached about christ, or claimed his lyrics were "faith based", so no, I wouldnt mention that he was a Christian Rock Star, since I would have nothing to base it on. Were he to attempt to hire someone to kill his wife, I'd simply have said, Douchebag Rock Star pays to have wife killed.

There is no such thing as a professional hitman. There are mob hitmen, gang enforcers, etc. But in America if you are a regular jackoff there is nobody you can hire to have someone whacked.
They're all cops :facepalm

Well, that's disappointing news. You mean I'm gonna have to go cut those brake lines myself!? :(

couldn't the mofo just let her listen to his own songs and have her kill herself out of agony..?

I'm kinda with R1 on this one.

Why are you holding Christians to a higher standard? Are you abdicating all morality?

If you profess killing is fine, then you get a pass on hypocrisy. If not, then we are all judged by the same moral standard.

lot of oppressed white christian males getting their panties bunched up in this thread. :laughing

10-4^^
Him being Christian is only worth considering in that he can pray for forgiveness & not go to hell:cool

Being a Christian I can understand some of the animosity: greedy money grubbing unfaithful preachers, hateful violent anti abortionists, anti GLBT haters trying to control someone elses behavior, church groups loudly disturbing and protesting funerals of those they disagree with, pedophile Priests who are protected by the church, etc.

Add the media and Hollywood who've declared war on Christians, in part, for the aforementioned examples and we are where we are.

Now a vocal band, who uses Christianity to market their music is seen for what they are, a fraud.

Christ's message was clear, and simple. Unfortunately that message has been unnecessarily convoluted and complicated by men who think they speak for Christ. Just pick up a King James version of the bible and you'll see what I mean.

The best alternative I've found is The Jefferson Bible, compiled by Thomas Jefferson. In short, he took a book of blank pages and pasted in the most important versus, in his mind, in proper chronological order. He omitted everything else. He did this following a discussion with a friend where he described his frustrations with the organized church. Many of his frustrations were no different from the frustrations we continue to experience with today's organized church. If you're interested in exploring Jefferson's Bible, you can get here.

To me, whether you believe in Christ, an invisible spaghetti monster, or nothing at all, Christs message was clear and simple. If all of us lived this message we'd live in a much more peaceful world, regardless if you believe in an after life or not.

I'm not a Christian because I belong to a church. I'm a Christian because I believe in Christ's message.

I can't say I believe the media and hollywood have declared war on christians or christianity.

I'm not a Christian because I belong to a church. I'm a Christian because I believe in Christ's message.
Right. Going to church doesn't make you a christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.

Do your remarks against the majority of Christians mean you have also declared war on Christians? The public find hypocrites of any stripe newsworthy; thats product marketing, not a war against whatever the exposed liars claim to represent, be it moral high ground, politics, policy, etc.

I respect your personal stand point, in fact that was my personal stand point for a time, as I slowly phased from being a born again Christian to being non-religious. When I looked at the history of the Bible, the legitimacy problems you have with the KJV also abound in every other previous version, back to the Greek scrolls written centuries ago to record even older trans-generational oral histories.

Till death do us part...

He was just expediting the matter.

If you want hypocrisy, look at all the gandbangers who profess themselves to be Catholic and wear a cross all the time, yet kill with impunity. THIS guy wasn't even going to do the killing himself; he was trying to have someone else do it.

I just wanted to thank you for your honest post. As an agnothiest, I suppose I don't see the war on Christianity that I hear so much about, but I agree with the rest of what you said. The teachings ascribed to Jesus are quite simple, and I agree that if more people tried to live up to them, the better our world would be.

I didn't want your post to get lost in the rest of what this thread will likely become. Kudos to you :thumbup (not that you need them from me)
