No, he isn't friended in my facebook account, I think he just did a search on my name in FaceBook and found it that way since I used my full name there, and photos of me on my bike that appeared here on Barf.

Hello Janna,

No one can write like Hemingway and Carver! Even when they practice the same style! I don't practice writing like anyone actually and just write as it comes, and to me, I think my own writing sucks... badly, and never said anything to contradict that. It's why I was floored when a few people said they liked it, or that it was even decent. I think people weren't referring to the words or the style (or lack of it), but to the situations and the characters and their reactions to situations that people don't ever have normally.

Or on a deeper level, maybe the people who found themselves engaged in "some" way saw situations that shared similarities to their own lives and it was cathartic to see other people, even fictitious ones, get themselves out of those difficult times.
