You must live in that sheltered world where kids don't already know more about sex before they are 9 then they will ever learn in sex ed huh?
 
No, I'm actually living in that dream world where parents still give a fuck about acting like parents and not doing that kind of shit in front of their kids.

Case in point: I live right across from an elementary school, and one day as I'm taking the dog out for a walk I hear this woman swearing. "Fuck" and "shit", the whole nine yards. I look over, and it's a "mother" in her 20's berating her child - who looked to have been about 5 - using "fuck" and "shit". Now, maybe he already knows the words, but that doesn't give her the right to yell at him with those words.

Likewise, those kids in the pic might know about sex, but they still shouldn't see their parents behaving like that. Just another example of how fucked our future is.

Well the thing is, setting a good example is one thing. While acting appropriately is the correct thing to do. So is speaking to your kids and educating them on what IS correct, and what is not. Perhaps the laziness of the world is just as much to blame as "bad parenting"?
 
Dave, did you go talk to the parent, or did you just tell your dog what you would have said if you did?
