I think you are being a little sensitive about it. Who cares man? I got a suspension too for the same violation.
I just link anything I think I might be over line and hope that if I do go over a line again someone just cuts me some slack (since the line is somewhat subjective.) Just know you passed a vote and a majority of mods thought you were in the wrong.
I'd rather not see anyone else suspended for any violations rather than call for more.
