Finally got around to creating this one tonight

True story:

An ex girlfriend of mine once called me because she had run out of gas.

She had been driving around to all the different gas stations looking for diesel gas, and all she could find was Diesel #2.

Upon being informed that diesel #2 was diesel, she then continued to ask for assistance because the gas nozzle on pump #2 wouldn't fit into the diesel tank....

The nozzles do come in a couple of sizes. My favorite station has six pumps, but four of them are set up for large trucks with larger nozzles so they can dispense faster. I'm forced to use one of the two end pumps to fill up my puny little F250.

Also, I'm pretty sure a diesel nozzle won't fit into a gas filler neck but a gas one will fit into a diesel one. So that's kinda weird.

Rented a Hengehold diesel truck once in Palo Alto, and on returning it was asked if I filled it up. "Was 89 octane OK?" The guy about had a heart attack. "No, I didn't really do it." "Phew, we had a guy return a diesel truck last week who filled the tank with gas. Incredible pain: had to have a hazmat team out to empty and dispose of mixture. Cost a fortune."
