Dolly Parton is very underrated as a songwriter. The White Stripes and Post Modern Jukebox have both done fantastic of covers of Jolene.

I saw an interview with Dolly. She said she wrote that song after waiting in line at a bank. The teller was beautiful and she imagined her husband running off with her. Name wasn't even Jolene...but damn, coming up with a song like that just being bored in line at a bank. serious talent.
