I pre-ordered by UFC from gamestop, so I should be good to go.

Has anyone seen the Tony Hawk Ride game coming shortly? With the skate deck controller that you stand on?

:laughing it's pretty sick

I'm picking up UFC tomorrow too! Anybody up for some online beatdowns?

Gamefly actually shipped the game out to me today, I also have a blockbuster pass, I will probably just get really anxious to play it and pick it up from blockbuster tomorrow.:cool since I won't be getting the game in my mailbox until Wednesday

I got X-Men Origins Wolverine, now that game is simply bad ass. You can kill enemies so many ways and the game always feels like you really are wolverine since you are the most powerful person on screen. Cool thing too is that you can also unlock the classic wolverine costumes, I have only unlocked the classic yellow and blue outfit so far.

I still have my gamefly plan, but I will not be renewing it, they pissed me off with the low availability of popular games, I had x-men origins wolverine on my Q a week before it came out and I never got it shipped to me, I went down to my local blockbuster and got the game pass, which also includes movies (1 out at a time) for $22. The blockbuster is about a quarter mile away from my house, so I can exchange games whenever I feel like it.

Now the next game I am looking forward to is ufc undisputed, that comes out tomorrow, I'll be over at blockbuster in the morning to make sure I get a copy, they said they ordered 11 copies, so I should be good.

I downloaded the demo thinking this would be another quick buck for the movie studios but the demo was pretty damn cool. I'll let it sit in my Gamefly Q for a month and if it doesn't ship I'll stop adding games and get the Blockbuster dealio.

We should have a barf UFC tournament.
Has anyone played the Fight Night Round 4 Demo yet?

There's a Fight Night Round 4 demo?! Round 3 was pretty innovative using the sticks to do all the punching and weaving.

To get the Fight Night Round 4 demo you have to pre order it from gamestop. Just give them a $5 down payment and they will give you a code to download the demo.
It's better than round 3 but no more button mashing you have to use the analog stick to throw punches.

And with FNR4 the collision detection (and graphics which is saying something since R3 was beautiful) is much better than round 3. Looking forward to that one as well! :thumbup

I got a torrent of the demo, just extract the file with winrar and burn the folder as a data disc onto a blank dvd-r. Then load it onto the xbox and go to the demos tab to play it. I played the demo and I think they kind of ruined the game.

The game feels to arcadey for me, your punches hardly do any damage, they got rid of the parry system, the parry was my main line of defense in FNR 3. the punch layout is not the same, you no longer have to hold the L trigger to throw body punches. Just move the right thumbstick to throw side body punches.

haymakers are done by using the rb . The jabs are too fast and weak, and the corner game after rounds is stupid. Basically you get points througout the round and you can use the points to boost your health, stamina, or punching power. I see this as a big problem, I like to tire my opponent and then go for the knockout later on in the fight. Now if the other guy just saves his points and boosts his stamina to full, then what is the point?

here is the torrent for the fight night demo

Put in an hour on UFC last night, started career mode, and got 3 fights under my belt (3-0) in the Heavyweight class.

You get to create a fighter, and you get to pick & choose what he looks like in a character creator not unlike the one in The Sims games. It's pretty comprehensive. Then you can choose tattoos, customize trunks, add ankle supporters, etc. The height/weight you choose determines what class he fights in. You can type in whatever name you want, but the game only gives you so many nicknames, and it's only the nicknames that they call out during the matches.

Then you choose one striking skill (boxing, kickboxing, muay thai) and one ground game (bjj, judo, wrestling) and you get points to put into fighting attributes (standing offense, standing defense, grappling offense, grappling defense, submission offense... etc.) Similar process goes into the physical attributes (strength, speed, cardio).

The career mode runs on a calendar, you get so many weeks before your next fight and you can designate each week for certain tasks...

Training (increases strength, speed, or cardio and you can go light, moderate, or heavy).

Sparring (you get points you can put into fighting attributes depending on how well you do).

Rest (every time you train or spar you drop a % of your stamina, depending on intensity). Ideally you want to time it so that you're resting 1 week before the fight and you're at 100% condition by week 0.

I really like the control I have over the fighters so far. But I'm still struggling to remember all the moves and combos, especially in the clinch and on the ground. Just plain button-smashing doesn't really work too good in this game because it leaves you open a lot of times and gives the opponent a good chance to counter-attack.

Really digging it so far though.

Bethesda has also confirmed two more downloadable content packs set for release on all formats. The first, Point Lookout, will be released in late June on the Xbox 360 and PC and will focus on a new swampland area. The second, Mothership Zeta, promises a "firsthand alien abduction" in late July on the two platforms. Both packs will cost 800 Microsoft points (£9.99, $9.99) and will make their way to the PS3 once the first three packs have been released.

In addition to the gamut of DLC, Bethesda has more retail releases for Fallout 3 in the works. Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #1 is an expansion disc containing both The Pitt and Operation: Anchorage, and it will be released for the Xbox 360 and PC on May 26 in North America and on June 12 in Europe. The second expansion disc, Fallout 3 Game Add-on Pack #2, will include Broken Steel and Point Lookout and will be released in August in both territories.

Finally, Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition will be available in October on either side of the Atlantic and includes the original game plus all five add-ons for £39.99/$59.99 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and for £29.99/$49.99 on the PC.

How did you get to level 30 in Fallout 3? I'm playing on very hard and get about 100XP per Deathclaw and it's taking forever.

if you're rushing it you're not doing it right :p

I had made a new character, and when i hit 20, i stopped. Then with expansion, started up again and had all those quests still laying around. It does take a long time though, just explore the world till you get it

Oh and inFamous is pretty damn sweet :D
