Soooo I bought Prince of Persia for $15 and whoah, I must've been crazy to not like it the first time around! :wow
 
I already beat it on impossible, just going for a few odds and ends achievements.

prince of persia was pretty sweet. i'll have to play through that again as well.
 
Maybe I was in too big of a FPS mood. :dunno but yea you were totally on point with this one.

Mirrors Edge was kool, but not a favorite. Ghostbusters is bleh, I'm bored of it already.
 
finally signed up for gamefly. nothing coming out for a little bit, and ton of older games i never played that i dont wanna buy

if you want a game that is coming out soon then you better have it in your Q 2 weeks before it comes out, it is really hard to get a popular game once it has been released. They take forever to send you a game, and I think they do some sort of throttling so that you don't get that many games per month.

I prefer a game pass at a brick and mortar store like hollywood video or blockbuster.

I'm thinking about getting the Blockbuster one and I'm already tired of the BS Gamefly has to offer.

In-store gamepass is cool, it is only 1 out at a time though. But you can rent movies or games with it, and a blockbuster is 1/2 a mile away from me so I'd be there in a few minutes on my bicycle. You are limited to the store you signed up at though. Check out your local stores inventory and see if you like what they have in stock.

My local store had decent amount of games and I was always able to get new releases since I knew what time they got their shipments in.

Gamefly has been nothing but awesome to me. I always get new releases the day of, or after it comes out. Customer service is on point when I've dealt with them. They're really good about having an abundance of games. Even on "Low Availability" I get games w/in 3-4 days.

yeah screw that 3-4 days, for the average user that is ok.

all I got to say is modded xbox +blank dvd+r DL discs+ blockbuster gamepass=WIN
 
Gamefly sends me stuff from the very end of my Q(#46,#47) and it takes 3 days to get here from LA when it used to take 2.:thumbdown

Oh yeah and I haven't had anything shipped via Fast Return in 2 months.:thumbdown

I think right now wouldn't be a good time to have a gamepass unless you want to rent some older games you never got to play. There seems to be a lack of good titles this summer, only somewhat good games to come out recently IMO have been prototype and fight night round 4.

There are several ok games like overlord 2, ghostbusters, but nothing that really stands out of the crowd.

I'm looking at the torrent sites for new games and most of them are meh.. I don't even think they are worth wasting a blank dvd for.
