Console (Xbox Live/PSN) / PC - Online / Multiplayer Gaming

Interesting that they put stealth in Halo. Usually "stealth" is walking around and meleeing sleeping grunts and elites.

yeah that is the single player. Disc one includes single player campaign and firefight, disc two is just a sum of halo 3 maps.

I only got disc one, I'm not wasting 4.5 hours to download disc 2 and waste a blank disk on it.

poor you, don't have the time to waste to steal the game :laughing

It's not stealing. He's borrowing it without permission and not giving it back.

im not judging, i have nearly 100 gigs of borrowed music on my computer, just funny he makes it sound like downloading it and burning to oh so expensive blank dvd's is such a hassle :p

Manny,

Should i mod my current system? I heard the new ones are Live safe (my brother still plays on his). Or should another system and mod it?

Played the demo. Physics are better in DiRT2 but I won't judge it until I play some rally and Pike's Peak.

actually the blanks aren't dvd-r they are dual layer dvd's. They cost me about $40 for a pack of 20. Not that expensive but still not cheap enough to waste them

it doesn't matter if it is a new or old console. What makes it safe and not safe are playing games that might have been leaked from developer's copies or reviewer copies. As long as the game backup is from a retail copy you have nothing to worry about. That stuff happens with earlier releases, So far almost all the early releases I have gotten ended up being copies from legitimate retails since I'll only get an early release from trusted "early release teams."

and even if it is a non retail copy there is a program that patches all the security sectors to a verified retail copy.

I take that risk of playing some games that are leaked on the net, sometimes they end up being a stolen developer copy or something other than retail. If you do end up modding your system, I can hook you up with some games. I've got plenty:thumbup

Been playing on live with backups for almost 2 years now.

nope not on hard drive. Even if that was possible each game weighs in at 7gigs so the hard drive would fill up quick.

Each game is burned onto a dual layer dvd+r disc. It's not like the old xbox in which you had a modchip installed and microsoft could detect you. Microsoft can't detect modded consoles they only detect bad game rips from sources other than retail.

Interesting. How does one mod a XBOX360? Do you just need to buy a chip and have good soldering skillz?

Yup, I'm down to mod mine then. I seen some ppl on CL advertise it, but what "mod" am I looking for?

no mod-chip needed or even soldering, all you are doing is flashing the firmware on the dvd drive, by hooking up the drive to a pc with a sata cable and running the step by step program.

So if you are looking on craigslist look for someone that is advertising as xbox 360 flashing.

kk, sounds good. I see a lot of 360 backups on a few priv torrent sites I'm on. PM me where you get yours Manny.

How does one hook the drive to a PC? Data transfer cable? Aftermarket hard drive?
