Well. It looks like I'm going to be trading up to the MW:2 console when it comes out. My 360 is overheating a lot with the 1st and 3rd ring section if you stand it vertical. It'll make a huge whoosh and from the DVD tray and fans and I get the red ring. I can still play but only for an hour or so before it takes a dump on me.

Actually I think it's from playing Batman. I tried installing to the hard drive but it only buys me about 10 more minutes of gameplay. I can play Rock Band 2 and Forza 2 until my fingers bleed but as soon as I try playing Batman my console overheats.

I had a original Xbox till April last year, it started overheating shortly after I began playing GTA IV. At first it was 30-40 minutes into the game it would shut-off and blink the rings, then it began doing it more often, like 7-8 minutes into the game. Since it was one of the original 360s, the HD is only 12gb so putting the game on there was out of question.
I put up with that for about a week then went to best buy and got another one, and some $ back b/c 360's price had came down.![]()
Operation Flashpoint has been ugh* soo far. It takes too far to go between checkpoints. (I hate big maps). but I my hookup from EA just came through
