I did come up with a awesome Forza 3 DLC idea though: Top Gear test track DLC so we can compare lap times with The Stig. How awesome would that be?

Also have "Bioshock 2" and "Dante's Inferno" rented at home. "Dante's Inferno" is a complete and huge rip-off of "God of War" with more bewbs and it's short(like almost all EA games) but the game is still a solid 7.5/10 in my book. It should also be a pretty easy 1000/1000 if you beat the game twice but you'll need a guide to find all the collectibles.

Haven't played much of "Bioshock 2" yet but I'll get started on that when I get 1000/1000 on "Dante's Inferno".:nerd
 
My PC should be finished tomorrow, so I'll be hopping onto Bad Company 2 on that. Oh and Final Fantasy 13 comes out tomorrow... And God of War 3 in a few weeks or so. Lots of good games coming out lately

God of War 3 releases on March 16. That's 8 days away...bring it on Kratos!
 
Played it. Not that great compared to Tourist Trophy, which so far is the best motorcycle racing game in existence. The bikes turn in really slow and they're twitchy.

if you are talking about the motogp demo...yup, agreed. Sucked donkey balls. Controlling in first person was a twitchy mess and only marginally better in 3rd person mode. Deleted it after getting frustrated that I couldn't even hold a decent line round a corner due to the controls. TT 2 Where are you?!
 
Yeah I wouldn't bet on a TT2 in a while. GT5 got delayed because Forza 3 was clearly a better game that Polyphony was going to release so they delayed it.

I also got 1000/1040 on Dante's Inferno. They released a DLC but I read some reviews and everyone was saying it's not worth $5 for the content or 40GS. Bioshock 2 is not as good as the first one but still pretty good.:|
 
Look how long its taking them to make Gran Turismo 5, don't hold your breath on TT 2

Kazunori already mentioned making a TT sequel after GT5 as DLC or a standalone so I'm fairly excited for it. It doesn't change the fact that it will still take a while :( :laughing

:wtf :laughing what a load of crap. Sorry but, saying a game that isn't out yet to be inferior to Forza 3 is serious bull. Say that when GT5 is released and then we'll discuss the merits of each. There are a couple of theories on why it was delayed: 1) implementation of full damage on the cars (other than race cars) and 2) speculated 3d implementation. It was only delayed once at Japan (March). It never had a release date besides that.

Don't buy the DI DLC, it's utter trash that last less than half an hour. It was free for the PS3 for good reason.
 
During GT5's production, Forza 2 and 3 were both released with damage physics. Dirt/Grid have plenty of damage physics for years. I've always loved the GT series, own 3, 4, and TT, but this production time is ridiculous. I dunno how it'll beat Forza 3, it set the bar pretty damn high.

I agree that the bar was set high...but...

1. 1000+ cars
2. WRC
3. Nascar (personal meh)
4. Open wheel cars (not new but IRL was mentioned - not confirmed)
5. Headtracking
6. Night racing in all tracks
7. Damage - finally (but I didn't care much before)
8. Ferrari and Lambo finally in (Porsche still being douches lol)
9. Unparalled graphics (not even a competition)
10. Superior physics (my opinion)

As far as development time...yeah it has taken a while since the last GT but consider these releases from the same company since GT4: TT, GTHD (technical demo), GTP (technically a demo), GTPSP. GT4 was released in 2005. Keep in mind that games development takes more than a year + most of the time and a 2010 release suddenly doesn't seem that long a wait.

been playing a good amount of bad company 2 on PC. this is the FPS i've been waiting for. MW2 was fun for a while but got old after my 2nd prestige. BC2 takes a lil while to get used to (My K/D ratio is still like, 0.8) but i'm really liking it. it's not all about who gets the best k/d ratio, it's about doing whatever it takes to win, which means actually playing with your squadmates, mixing up classes well, etc. there is also very little camping (still snipers, but best snipers keep moving around anyway). noob tube is here, but its not nearly as powerful as MW2, you pretty much have to hit them directly to kill. Enemy behind cover that you can't hit? just blow up that damn wall!
