Container ship loses power brings down major bridge.

I also seem to recall one massive container ship had to go under the GGB to get to the port of Oakland a few years back and it was so high that the tide had to be low in order to get what was considered safe clearance from the underside of the bridge. It was some kind of major toodo. I want to say that the Coasties and some tugs were all present as escorts.

I remember that, it was those new cranes for the Port of Oakland and they had feet inclearance.

I understand that the English language is constantly changing, but “busses” is still wrong, despite what’s in the dictionary. The same can be said of the word “preventative”. The proper way to spell and say that word is “preventive”. Without the extra t and a. But because many people mispronounce it, it’s now in the dictionary.

And the same thing happens with taking photos with one’s phone. The vast majority take photos and videos with the phone in portrait mode when it should be in landscape mode. Just because people do things wrong, that doesn’t mean we should accept these wrong things. All it does is dumb down society.
 
Irregardless, for all intensive purposes "busses" v. "buses" is not a sign that civilization is collapsing.

The original title for the movie WAS "Irregardless Henry", but that was clarified to "Regarding Henry" per Harrison Ford's contractual terms to not have mathematical formulas for understanding what the title really is.
