Yea, you just want to crane your neck up.
Couple of things.
First, he has obviously done this before -- he was used to riding the scooter over the varieties of terrain.
Two, he probably had that thing pinned the entire time. 25-30 MPH! Which is great in a high tension environment, boolean throttle control. WFO or nothing.
Three, scooter has zero weight, and practically no rake. Real maneuverable. The bikes were full size, and police bikes are overloaded with other stuff anyway. Those high speed police bike chases I think are only the stuff of movies.
Well it was interesting that, apparently, the police had no issue knocking him off his scooter at speed. The instant remount and scoot off is a +1 for clutchless bikes, it never stalled out.
He kept looking at his hand, which was probably injured, but I think what we were seeing at the end was the adrenalin dump with no where to go.
