Cycle Gear buying Revzilla

It would be an improvement to CG's pitiful online presence and absolutely useless, unprofessional, non-user friendly wesite.

Unfortunately, I think this is bad news for revzilla.

If they can keep the scope of products and reviews on revzilla, the it would be a plus for both.

So you can do the startup thing in the motorcycle business after all... Sucks for everybody else, but the three Revzilla founders can retire early now.

+1 a startup success story for the Revzilla guys getting bought out.

Will be interesting to see what changes, will Revzilla operations continue under CG control or meld with CG.

There's plenty of choices on the web for MC stuff. CG isn't the devil BTW. They're just the Walmart of the motorcycle retail world. . Revzilla cashed out. meh...I have some CG stuff, because they had what I needed at the price I was willing to pay.

Too early to say. CG can acquire them but just let them run continuously with some oversight. Can't blame them as a strategic business decision.

This also means sales will be subject CA sales tax

Technically all of your purchases online regardless of what state or country they originate from are subject to sales and use tax.
People are either knowingly or unknowingly breaking the law by not reporting their purchases at the end of the year.

I hope somebody got this completely backwards and RevZillia is going to buy those lying useless idiots at Cycle Gear...

You say it like it's a bad thing.

I will be interested to see what affect this has. Are the cycle gear stores going to get better? worse? What about online presence...Hopefully they just leave the revzilla site the way it is and allow those guys to continue to run it. Cause if cycle gear takes over their website revzilla is screwed.

Most importantly FUCK U CYCLE GEAR :twofinger

Not exactly going to lose sleep over it, but yeah, it's a shame. I liked their Anthony's reviews and I doubt those will continue.

BTW, my local CG is not that bad, I appreciate a place to drop in and pick up something I need now.
