Going to Laguna next month. Im debating of this silencer would work on full M4 exhaust.
That silencer is specifically made for Yoshimura exhaust. Just asking the expert here if it works.
Also, if it does work how to put the silencer in place to prevent from moving/falling.
It is snug enough, but i want to have the peace of mind that its not going to come off on the track.
When this is installed on the yoshi pipe, it has a screw so it will stay intact.
Just wondering if this DB killer would work.
What you guys think. Yay or nay
Any alternatives to lessen the DB on this exhaust. I dont have the stock exhaust.

Thank you

It won't silence that much. Jay Murray can make you one. Do you have a full yosh system? The stock exhaust cannister should fit on the yosh headers. You can pick one up cheap

I have had a bit of experience with many brand DB killers. None... none in my experience will get you into the stock DB level. You have a month to troll ebay for an OEM silencer. That is the best advice anyone can give you . Laguna is a truly special place. Enjoy it... but make a very small investment in getting a used oem exhaust to do it. Hell, even some v twins with oem exhausts dont make the cut at Laguna. Learn to make and enjoy the bike sing with an oem pipe.

This. I have seen decibel killer equipped bikes fail at Laguna. Even some stock R6s will fail. Stock can is your best bet. Used is pretty cheap on Ebay, and easy to change in and out for a track day. I found a used stock can for my gsxr for free. Once installed, it provided better mid range than the Yosh slip on, and I realized the noise of the slip on was annoying, so I left the stocker on. The Yosh now lives proudly on a shelf in the garage. Stealth is a big help in avoiding tickets for speeding.
