More seriously, on rare occaisions, yes, typically no.

Dated this girl once that fell asleep like 80% of the time afterwards. Could be useful if you needed to get some work done.

So it's not specific to males, and I think it at least happens a fair bit of the time for the ladies.

Makes sense from a biological perspective, fed + safe + laid == nothing else to do, might as well sleep a bit.
