Ya know what, in baseball, where "anything can happen, but typically doesn't", boy howdy, I'll take it.

There's always something special about when the manager walks a player and the guy they felt was weaker calls their bluff.

That was a great game, a very high benchmark for the rest of the series.

Gibsons home run was better, but, boy, it can't get much closer than this.
 
Special moment for the Dodger fans.... and kind of cool to see for this Giants fan.

Nah, they left Kershaw at home so they could win. They thought they could pull a madbum with him in the postseason too many times before.

I hate this WS. Almost every superstar playing seems to have once been a free agent the giants fumbled in the offseason. I am now a lifelong Yankees fan for the next week. I don’t care who wins, I just need the dodgers to lose.
 
What is the over under on Judge strikeouts??

I don't see a sweep. No reason for Roberts to not give some guys a day of rest so he can come back in game 5 and take it.

Probably going to be a bullpen game for the Dodgers anyway, just a matter of which bullpen.

So, he may well take it easy tonight.

Or, he won't, and just shove a stake in the Yankees heart.

Yankees got a pass last night. With Cole and Flaherty, Roberts is going to bring out the full might of the bullpen to humble the Yankees at home.

Can Freeman go 5 in a row? Poster boy of the series to be sure.

Yea, likely. There was another fan interference call earlier, in LA I think, and that guy got ejected as well. But the LA guy, just a little overzealous catching the ball. Wasn't as much of a jerk as this guy was.

Good call on last nights game.

Freeman is the MVP pretty much no matter what at this point unless the Yankees pull out some black magic to become the ONLY team to come back from a 3-0 deficit.

That fan screams New Yorker. :laughing
