Technically yes. But he is calling it like he see's it. And unfortunate for your point of view, everything he said is true.

Now you can hate the guy running the business. But the facts are simple. The OP didn't even buy anything from him. Came here to blast the hell out of DD, with no just cause.

DD came here, and stated the facts. While interjecting the same cynical attitude as 90% of barf.

Is that really a problem?
 
I dunno, I've had my workplace blasted on barf before and never had to resort to being insulting or whiny or call the person cheap. It's unprofessional and doesn't quite instill confidence in future customers that their complaints will be taken seriously.
 
Company and store owners should stay off message boards period. It doesn't matter who's right or wrong. The company owner will always look like an ass. Sometimes he may be an ass. Most of the time it's because people who feel it's o.k to blast a person online have never had customer service be their livelihood.
If there is shit about you online either let it go or get someone who really knows what they're doing to respond. It's why real companies have a marketing dept.
Don't worry about it too much cuz most of the message board talking shit would never buy from you anyway. You won't lose any business if you just let this flush away silently.

And that's why I should stay the hell out of this thread. However, I will offer two things. One, the guys at DD have been in my experience totally stand up fellas, that build great products and love the shit out of motorcycles. Two, you cannot tell the strength of a carbon product from the finish. That shiny perfect weave you associate with carbon? Cosmetic and a result of using a female mold plus sanding and clearcoat. It no more reflects the integrity of the structure than bondo and shiny paint reflect the integrity of a car. Underneath that are the nasty structural layers, and especially if using a male mold or wrap, the finish will look like the stand above. Not pretty, but a totally functional and full strength part CAN look like that.
