for the last mile or mile and a half. I was riding my bicycle up and entering the 20 mph left hairpin .8 miles from the top when one rider's front wheel tucked and he saved it, but his buddy behind him went down. I helped them out and as we were on the side of the road another group came by and one of them crashed too.

After I continued on my way I noticed a trail of slime. Then I remembered the crappy blue van that had passed me belching fumes. Lo and behold the slime trail got heavier and right at the top was the blue van.

Anyhow, if you're heading up 9, go real slow on the last part. It's probably not worth riding 9 anyhow, there's a lot of traffic.

Eric, one of those "Webcor assholes".

Just a suggestion for all you guys. I keep two sticks of sidewalk chalk on the bike for just such an occasion. You can walk back, and put a huge 'OIL' sign on the pavement. And it'll be gone in a day or two.

You can save a lot of people a lot of rashed plastics with a stick of sidewalk chalk! :laughing

Please be more specific, frontside 9 or backside 9?

East 9 is not specific? You don't know how to read a map? Kids these days....

Your "frontside" and "backside" assume one starts from the east. Not everyone does. There's actually real people who live on 9 on the west side of 35, and some of them ride motorcycles too. It's not all meth heads out there.

Your picture shows the correct corner.

One stick of sidewalk chalk comes in every Harley toolkit, plus instructions on how to spell "OIL". :twofinger

I was riding along and saw a big sign saying "710" in the oncoming lane, anybody know what it means?

I will do the same and tell my buddies also.:ride Just please don't get hit while trying to write "oil" on the road.

Chalk is perfect for transient situations, like oil spills and bum barf. I also carry a can of yellow striping paint (spray with can upside down) to outline the worst potholes and cracks. There, I want the paint to last until the pavement flaw is repaired.
