Easter Sunrise ride?

^^ This

One year @ Redwood Run, some guy set up his tent with the tent poles inside the fabric, all lumpy and twisted, no rain fly. Got a good laugh outa that. :teeth

Good reminder, tent poles go on the outside...

one of our long-time members promised to get up at oh-dark-thirty and brew 10 gallons of coffee in her kitchen. I’ll believe it when I see it … :laughing

one of the benefits of joining an old-school mom ‘n’ pop AMA sweater club, for me, has been that for events like this someone usually volunteers to bring a pick-up truck, so the club can show up with refreshments and whatever. so the KLR is off the hook.

in any event, the shop is still chasing charging issues w/ the KLR, so it’ll be the ‘73 Tiger or ‘88 K75s or one of the other bikes in the garage that starts this Easter … :facepalm:party

hope to see you Sunday, or in the neighborhood, soon … maybe StonyBARF! :thumbup

It was great to see you up there John! Is there a way I can donate to the folks that paid to get the gate open? It was an absolutely beautiful morning.

I think that's the coldest Easter Tam ride I've done but I under dressed.
Thanks SFMC for the coffee. The pay for parking pole looked stuffed full, so I imagine that the folks that put up the 8 Benjis didn't lose money.

edit: I lost a JoJo Bow on the way home, I guess it flew off my helmet.

always a pleasure Mr anytwowilldo! :gsxrgrl

when we offered to help pay, they just told us to be sure to pay our parking fee. I put a $20 in, anyway. maybe WhatsApp and Facebook people will update us if they hear it turns out the wonderful people at Munroe Motors (and the other group) who stepped up to get the permit would like some ca$h help. I'll also post here if I hear anything new in that regard ...

maybe they'll be starting a collection for next year? :afm199

glad to hear the parking pole was stuffed, think I put my money in at 5:30am and it was still empty, and cold. :laughing

will keep an eye out for your JoJo Bow, but can't promise I'll be happy to return it to the rightful owner. :x

here's the gang at teh SFMC at 4:30am, yesterday:

Photo loads for me.

I stuffed a 20 in the parking pole around 6:30 and it barely fit in there, so I'd say a few people must have paid, hopefully that greases the wheels for next year.

I put some money in. I think we did pretty good.

I'll email the angels to see if they met their minimum.
