I did a search and couldn't find anything here.Honda has an XR400m factory motard. Why can't we get them here?It would be nice to have a few more options. It seems to me that the two most real world sm bikes are the DRZ and the Husqvarna.I'm talking daily use/abuse without crazy maintenance intervals.

"Husqvarna" and "without crazy maintenance" in the same sentence?!?! :wtf

pass the bong dood, don't bogart that good shit!!! :laughing

I think he's talking about the 610 Vs the 510 which has crazy maint and the SXV ape which needs its oil titrated !

didn't or doesn't Chi change his oil after every ride on his 450???

yeah, I guess the 610 is better, but relatively speaking, 'better' then the rest of the Euro stuff ain't sayin much, as far as my lazy, would rather ride than wrench ass is concerned....

I did that as a precaution. I never heard of anyone blowing up their engine by changing their oil too much. But I've heard of people blowing up their engine not changing it enough. One quart ~$5 > rebuilding my motor.

I'm sure its much easier than on the ape after reading stans oil change saga.

The huskys are tame in maintenance compared to the ape. You ever heard of laying the bike on it's side to 'prime' the oil filter cavity? :)

Anyways, the 610 was very easy. Oil changes every 2k, valve checks around the same time (piece of cake)
