If I don't type this now (4am) it won't get done for over a week as we're heading up to Colorado for some R&R tonight
Short and sweet is the only option.
I wouldn't have written a report at all this round, as I only participated in one race. However, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, there are some people that keep giving me more help then I deserve. Some recognition is the least I can offer in return.
For anyone that has followed along with this season's reports, these folks are the usual suspects. Being my first event without Larissa in attendance, some company in the pit was welcome. With a few days to spare, we got Drew to come out. He made the trek out and back, helped me out with the dogs, and as always helped out with the bike/rider issues. Thanks Drew, "you could be my wingman anytime"
Next on the list, Vik, Colleen, and Zoe (sp?). In exchange for some beer and a top secret mixer, I was invited to enjoy some of the track comforts I've only dreamed of. Pitting "bawler status"
I got to sneak into the Anderson/ Cunningham compound and make a stink. This meant the calming and good luck effects from the cutest baby ever (I'm pretty sure sneaking Zoe a kiss is what let me win). It also gave me access to Vik's ever welcome advice and tips for attacking problems on and off the track. And who DOESN'T like having Colleen in the pit? If a bike falls apart, while us guys are debating how best to fix it, she'd be busily reassembling it unbeknownst to us. All in all, great company to have, and an invitation I'd be stupid to turn down
Thirdly, thanks again Dan from TWFracing. I woke (naked) Dan up at 6am saturday with a knock on his door demanding carbs. In return, rather than an ass whooping, Dan gave me over an hour of his time installing a new set of flatslides on my sv.
No I'm not kidding, he really is that cool. Also, thanks to Zoran for sending down the goodies. The attitude of the bike under acceleration is a night and day difference.
As for me, well... I got the hole shot, and I won clubman lightweight
Jason kept me very honest at the front, passing me under braking more than once. I managed to knock a few tenths off my best time and I'm finally flirting with 2:04's
arty Joe came through with the photo-sex AGAIN
My only regrets: Not running onboard video as the battle with Jason was awesome.
Not racing sunday
Thank you, as always to my sponsors

See everybody in two weeks! I hope the weather is a bit cooler in Sonoma.

to salmonella land. I'll stick with polly's or otter pops
This fountain says it only accepts 20's!
