my observations:

gsxrbabes posts will always contain one or more of the following:

1. shes a racer and has been for years
2. her collarbone was broken
3. pics of incident that caused above
4. her riding is a world apart from other females
5. she has endured prejudice being a female racer
6. she deserves that double digit plate of hers
7. she deserves your respect

I dunno whether to bow down to her or tell her to stfu...

uh, because i am passionate about my hobby? i dunno. maybe cuz i've been around long enough to know bullshit when i see it and not take 99% of BARF so serious that i'll have a heart attack when i'm 50?

Kathy Reilly went faster than 2:10 in practice, I brought her practice times to her once or twice Saturday. I'm doin my best to go just a little bit faster than her this year. :)

no, i'm the ding-aling on this one....it IS streets for $155....and i've NEVER been there.......should be fun- weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!
 
I've never been there either. Other than the temp being about 100-110 it should be great.

I know they have an air conditioned building at the big track but I don't know about Streets. I hope so too though. Mojave desert in the middle of Aug. is going to be misserable. Oh well. We get to ride!:teeth

my ex bought me a long-sleeved shirt and i can't wear it! it feels all slick, like it will aid in my leathers spinning on my arms if i crash.(but maybe they will prevent internal rash, too?)

do they really keep you cool? the leathers i'll be using have full perf in the front and i usually wear a lightweight long-sleeved cotton shirt so i can get out of them.
what are the under armour shirts supposed to do??
 
I got a short sleeve shirt and the pants too. For me, they work great. I can understand what you are saying with the aiding of your leathers spinning around if you crash. With a short sleave though, you shouldn't have a problem. I love mu UA's. They work great. Not as good as being in the pool on a hot day but way better than no UA.

As far as rash goes. The lining in my leathers used to tear the crap out of my knees and elbows. UA fixes that too though. AND at the end of the day when your leathers are usually glued on from sweating all day, they slide right off.

maybe i can cut the sleeves of mine and hem it.....worth a try cuz i wont wear it otherwise.

i don't have the bottoms, and my liner shreds my knees too, especially behind them. i had trouble finding the shirts here, so i ended up getting a youth large. is there a good source for the bottoms for women? i use compression shorts right now, but i've been wanting bottoms too....i think my pitmate dreads having to yank my sweaty butt out of my leathers all the time...:teeth

I had to call around untill I found someone with it. I ended up driving all the way to Modesto for it. It was worth it. I believe one of the dealers in San Jose had it. I didn't call any further north of San Jose though so there might be something closer to you.

You already have the shirt so you probably know this but, make sure you get Heatgear Under Armour.

A tip: A long sleeve undersuit will make it much easier to remove your leathers. I've been using a Kushitani one piece undersuit a buddy gave me for my B/Day last year. It is actually cooler than using no undersuit and I can take my leathers off myself! Cost a hunnert bucks and it's worth it. Of course I didn't spend the hunnert bucks but I woulda...

I think Hare has some in stock. Highly recommended. Wayy better than the UnderArmor stuff.
