Fastest you've gone on a motorcycle (and fastest corner you've taken)

Machines. Hell no. I was talking about horses.

Stallions. Big and fast. They had ABS.

:wow

Does a sidecar count?

If so, riding monkey at Willow Springs on s very fast F1. I was told it was around 195 before braking for T1.

That would also make T8 the fastest corner I've been in.

25 MPH (phone GPS) on my horse feels like 120 MPH on a 1000RR. Shits scary!

A braggarts thread? OK. Go out and do 150 with apehangers then come back and talk to me.

I once did 324mph in a top fuel dragster.....

145 on an R1 hwy4 eastbound between Pinole and Martinez.
Only held it there for seconds. Was not willing to gamble with my license or freedom for anymore than an instant at that speed.

At Thunderhill on the same bike, maybe similar speeds, was focused on other things happening.

158 indicated on a 07 CBR600RR, so probably 145ish?

That was plenty fast for me, I prefer 2nd gear goaty roads anyways.

Ok, let me rephrase the question.

Based on your experience, can an average or above average rider on a sportbike safely negotiate a corner on the street at 160 mph (assume normal bay area roads)?

Maybe a corner on 280? Idk if that's doable cause I've never tried but it seems like it would be pretty easy on that highway.

Also 115 is the fastest I've ever gone because that's what I exited the corner at

I'll cop to it because I'll never ride again and I'm not here to lecture nobody.

115 on 101N

Smart? No

But it happened

I've topped out every bike I've ever owned. So, who fucking knows.
