It does not work. Not for me.

“G” in Bimmerease really signifies the generation. These days at least. The G80 3-series was preceded by the F80 and the E90 before that. But then the letter was the same for the generations before that, E46, E36, and E30.

Anyways. I hear the term “G Body” I certainly don’t think of anything German.

It was the mid size RWD vehicle platform for GM that made cars like the Regal, Grand Prix, El Camino, this Monte Carlo here, and of course the greatest G Body of them all, the Grand National.

Going into the 90’s, G body became the mid/large FWD platform that made things like Bonneville, Seville, Grand Prix, and so on.
 
Also while I’m here. I’m know I’ve said this before, but in case I haven’t here, if it was not for James Bond, Aston Martin would have gone under decades ago.

I of course can’t post them publicly, but take my word for it. I’d say about 1/3 of all the Astons I see on my lot have a personal plate with some kind of tie in to the movies.

I just verified that VA offers the *&* character. VA has over 200 (!!!!!!) different designs of plates to choose from.
