Fitbit Alternative

Yes, there is the price as well. Apple could have sold their computers for below what MS compatible computers sold for. But again, Apple was greedy.

I remember one of my brothers buying his Apple IICi computer many years ago. He paid 7000 dollars for it and a 13” monitor.

Corporate greed blinded them.

Amazfit is working fine. Just like the FitBit Charge6, they copied that sucky band design but made it even worse, but the device and app has more features.

There's nothing worse than the current version of Windows. It's absolute shit.
i installed linux mint over an old windows desktop install and after getting the drivers for video card and wifi sorted i doubt i'll go back. my wifi would disconnect every few minutes on windows. with linux mint, the computer has been rock solid.

I’m currently use Aura. It’s a ring that does the same job as the Fitbit nut with a smaller form factor. The only downside is the $6 monthly fee but I feel it’s worth it.

I went through two of those. Like the fitbit, it died prematurely. Aura replaced the first one, so I got a tiny bit over two years use.

It says 75c but it should be f

I tried Whoop for a week. I really hated that I couldnt use it as a watch. And the subscription was going to be absurdly expensive. So I got a Garmin watch. It has satisfied all my needs. I have one of the higher end ones that does mapping. I use that so infrequently that it probably wasn't worth the extra price over a cheaper model. But oh wells.

I've had the watch for 1.5yrs and just cracked the screen along the edge. I have no idea what I whacked it on, but here we are. Garmin's warranty/repair program is selling me a refurb unit for $160. It's a pretty sweet deal given the watch is still sold for >$500. It's a costly mistake on my end. I'll probably try a screen protector.

Total Shit. Fucking hate it. Adobe is a close second. F that rich guy and his F'd up money grabbing slimy fingers.
Please attach the photo of you raging at the camera with your middle finger extended.
This post is totally incomplete without it.

I live with diabetes and Ankylosing Spondylitis - both of which I manage med' free with diet and exercise.
My Garmin watch as become the centerpiece of my health and fitness management, along with a CGM. Most don't need anything like the data it provides but if you are like me and need as much as you can get, its priceless. I'm not joking or exaggerating when I say that my Garmin's blood O2 data probably saved my life when I got Covid - alerting me to the rapid deterioration in blood O2 levels.
Beyond that it gives me the data to monitor and adapt my exercise and recovery regimen, and HRV tells me that I'm over trained or coming down with an infection 2-3 days before I feel anything.

Does the Garnin you use require a subscription service? If so, which is the best package? Which model do you recommend?

No subscription required. I use a Venue3, battery life is awesome.

Ever since Adobe went cloud and subscription based where we don’t even own our creations, I made it a mission to boycott them forever.
