Funny story, the PD arranged to test drive a new ST1300P bike we had outfitted. So John hitched a ride down with one of his officers to pick up the bike for a few days. On the way back (from Hollister) they got some hot call (bank robbery or something as serious, I don't recall) and he got the red/blues going and gassed it. The patrol car had no chance of keeping up. As he got to about Pleasanton- traffic was building and he couldn't figure out how to turn on the siren - lots of buttons and switches and he had no need when he picked it up. He DID figure out how to make the PA system work so he started making siren whoop whoop sounds into his helmet mic carving through traffic. Still makes me chuckle...
