Flat Track Racing Mega Thread - INCLUDES SPOILERS!

The big ???? Is would Springer had more wins than Parker, if he didn't have "the stomach issues" ? I believe he would have.

I don't know that we'll ever know the answer to that "what if" question, but if I were to list the riders who I think were most talented (not "best" or "winningest"), it would look something like this (not in any particular order):

  • Carol Resweber
  • Jay Springsteen
  • Ricky Graham
  • Kenny Roberts

*disclaimer* I am only a very casual flat track fan, and my favorite AMA rider of all time, hands-down, without question is the late, great, Gary Nixon, but I don't think he's on that list

I can't decide who would be my fifth on that list. Every time I think about adding one more person, I find myself wondering, "was Brelsford more talented than Parker, more talented than Aldana, more talented Leonard, more talented than Carr?", so I'll leave it at 4. Flame away. :p

So many great riders I would put Dick Mann near the top all around. do not forget Bubba Shobert.

When I practice or race at the local flat track, I often say "I love the short track oval but the TT is like a drug to me." Not to blaspheme but TTs are my favorite part of the AMA Pro Flat Track season.

Castle Rock, WA TT is tomorrow (Saturday) night. Be sure to watch the live streaming on FansChoice.TV. Event schedule available as a PDF from the AMA Pro Flat Track website. Practice starts at 3:30. Heats at 7:30. Mains at 9:30.

Track walk from 2012 with Joe Kopp. They've added a second jump this year but this is still entertaining.

Yes. Colindres set overall fast time for the night. The kid is good.

Rainout. Enjoy Real Housewives of Duluth.

Beach is so awesome. He's having a great time.

So the fast kid was a Junior??

Yeah. Dominic Colindres is from Brisbane and has been fast in AMA District 36 Flat Track and SupermotoUSA since his early teens. He's been on the podium three times in three visits to Castle Rock (two wins and a third in his first AMA Pro race). He's also won the Pro Singles class at the Peoria TT. Colindres was fourth by a whisker at the Sacramento Mile in Pro Singles.

I've watched him race at Lodi and race and practice at Brok's track. He's got great bike control and is super aggressive. Its really fun to watch him ride.

Indy Mile is FRIDAY night this year. Watch Live Streaming coverage on FansChoice.tv. Grand Marshal is some one named Marc Marquez.

Event schedule here.

"MotoMatters" gushes:

"......On Friday, there is The Indy Mile, one of the greatest two-wheeled spectacles in the world.
Grand Marshall at the Mile is Marc Marquez, the world champion being a devotee of dirt track.
American Honda have already presented him with an RS750 dirt tracker.....

.....if HRC top brass (Shuhei Nakamoto and Livio Suppo) will let him,
he may even do a few laps of the Indiana State Fairground.
