thanks for the info , i was only born, raised and have lived in san francisco for about 50 yrs. like the other dude said, not all of us keep track of dates that really don't concern us.

heard of them, heard of folsom street, carnaval, haight st fair, and plethora of others but do i have the fucking dates memorized?

and i wasn't even bitching about the folsom street fair (or any other event), just mentioning that as a san francisco parent, sometimes you have to explain some shit to your children that parents in des moines, fucking iowa don't have to explain. and i'm fine with explaining those things because of the general benefit of living in a heterogeneous metropolitan environment.
